Last updated: 29 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data Nadir Studios collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. Nadir Studios is a sole trader business — [Your Name, trading as Nadir Studios].
1. Who we are
Nadir Studios ("we", "us") designs and builds websites for small local businesses, and offers optional ongoing promotion. This site is operated by Nadir Studios, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].
2. What we collect
When you use the contact form or project questionnaire, we collect: your name, business name, email address, phone number (if you give one), and any details you share about your business or project — industry, goals, budget range, timeline, and any other notes you add.
We do not collect payment details through this website — nothing here handles card payments.
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand overall site traffic (e.g. page views, referrers, device type). Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect or store any personal data or cross-site identifiers — visitors cannot be individually identified or tracked across other websites. Because no cookies or personal data are involved, no cookie consent banner is required for this.
3. Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and — if you go ahead — deliver the service you've asked for. We don't use your details for marketing unless you separately opt in, and we never sell your data to anyone.
4. Legal basis
We process enquiry details under "legitimate interests" (responding to a request you've initiated). If you become a client, we process your details under "contract" — to deliver the service you've paid for.
5. How your data reaches us
Form submissions on this site are currently sent as a plain email to our own inbox. We don't store enquiry data in any separate database or CRM at this time.
6. Third parties
- Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. See Google's own privacy policy for details.
We don't share your data with anyone else.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client data only as long as needed to respond to you or deliver an ongoing service, then delete it. If you'd like your data deleted sooner, just ask.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
